About Our Nursing Home Outreach

Two to three Fridays each month, Joel Pace and some of his music students and volunteers gather at Jacksonville Nursing and Rehab in the morning to play music, sing and bring items to residents there. We try to provide items for their enjoyment including puzzle books, pens/pencils, stuffed animals, games, puzzles, toys and special holiday items at various times of the year. We hope to bring some joy and smiles while there.

How can you help?

We always welcome donated items to include puzzle books (large print is best), pens/pencils, small stuffed animals and fidget type toys. If you have time you can offer to volunteer, please check out our Facebook page for specific dates and times if you would like to join.
